To find the websites that offer the lowest price for a particular goods, some websites provide a "electronic agent." Although other comparison-shopping websites also utilise electronic agents, travel websites (hotels, airfare, auto rentals, etc.) use them frequently. Be warned that the information offered in the comparison may be lacking because some vendors have used technological measures to prevent these agencies from acquiring pricing data. Furthermore, shipping expenses, sales tax, and return/refund procedures are typically not taken into account when comparing prices on price comparison websites.
