how do i fix custom sky of a texture pack not working. i am using 1.20.4

When i use liquidbounce nextgen, on blocksmc some chunks just dont load and i cant go into them. im using viafabricplus to change version to 1.8 and im using built in bmc config. any fix?

When i join blocksmc, i get an error saying: internal exception: if.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Not enough bytes in buffer. any fix?
