Hi all! In 1990, Woodbridge Township dedicated 40 acres along the Woodbridge River for public benefit, marking the creation of the initial Wildlife Sanctuary. Situated on Port Reading Avenue, between the American Hungarian Club to the west and 6th Street to the east, Woodbridge River Watch functions as a crucial wildlife sanctuary. It offers residents and visitors a natural haven to enjoy the area's rich biodiversity and scenic beauty.

Thanks to the ongoing efforts of Woodbridge Township's Mayor, Council, and dedicated members, Woodbridge River Watch has significantly expanded over the years. Now covering 90 acres, the sanctuary provides even more space for wildlife to thrive and for the community to engage in nature-related activities. The sanctuary’s history is also linked with the enigmatic Dunham's Mill, a historic flour mill from 1670, adding an intriguing historical element to the area.
