I'm currently under the interpretation that many servers can utilize plugin channels to detect the presence of certain mods on the user's client. This could give away the presence of blacklisted modifications when joining and playing on a server. In my case, I am using fabric.
I've installed LiquidBounce as a "standalone" mod in this sense (i.e. drag and drop into the mods folder), launched using Fabric alongside other performance-based mods.
I guess what I'm asking is, does LiquidBounce open itself up to this vulnerability? Would LiquidBounce give itself away through these channels? I know that some clients (i.e. Vape) will disguise themselves as a legitimate mod (i.e. Optifine) to counteract this.
