Not loading when I start the game

I've downloaded and installed liquidbounce in what I believe to be the right way.
I downloaded the zip file, unzipped it, and moved the liquidbounce jar file into the mods folder. If I'm just being really dumb, could someone please provide a
step-by-step guide on how to install it? I'm atrocious with even slightly vague instructions. I'm using ATLauncher with a Forge instance, with the filepath being
" C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\ATLauncher\instances\Realms\mods " if that helps.

Again, a detailed step-by-step guide would be greatly appreciated.

@itsandyandterry Unable to load Liquidbounce. Generally there are only three situations. Either you're running a version of the game that doesn't support liquidbounce, or you're using a Forge that doesn't support liquidbounce. Lastly, there might be a problem or bug with your launcher.
That's all I know, you need to judge for yourself.
