PROBLEM WITH PREFIX

hello, i have a problem with prefix in client. i use several clients together and needed to change the prefix for the another client but somehow i changed for liquidbounce. i changed the default . prefix to * and now when i'm trying to even type * in chat minecraft crushes. i tried to do as said in some kind thread, to change the prefix in %appdata%.minecraft... way, but my .minecraft directory has not the folder which about talked in that thread so i need to change it somehow in the liquidbounce folder itself and looking forward for your help and options how can i change it. sry for english i am almost sleeping, good night
