You need to have Git installed to clone the project. Also do not download the repository via GitHub, use the terminal instead using Git and follow the commands.
Then you can open it in IntelliJ, but to build the themes, you also need to install NodeJS w/ NPM.
Your expertise does not seem to be high. What are you trying to archive? Nextgen is not very beginner friendly to code with.

@kawaiinekololis im skidding and codding only 1.12.2 I don't know what's going on here
