My Thoughts on the Future Development of LiquidBounce
-
I truly appreciate that this client has remained free and open-source, which is excellent and has given rise to many forks. However, I wonder if there has been consideration to develop an injectable client? I understand that technical expertise varies, but could we attempt to explore this path?
Take the example of CCBlueX/liquidbounce_lite, which uses DLL injection via Rust. While undoubtedly challenging (potentially taking at least two years to mature), could such an approach eventually become viable? Additionally, would an executable (EXE) based solution be worth exploring as an alternative?

If we were ever to consider making an injectable client, we would probably just make it possible using the traditional LiquidBounce Nextgen, as it is already something of an injectable and it would be much easier to make it loadable at runtime. It would be limited to the specific version it was made for though, everything else would require tons of wrapper code.
LiquidBounce Lite, was a short trip from me towards writing a cheat directly in Rust - which wouldn't be a big deal, however, as you said, "EXE" or rather, should we make a cheat that requires Windows API is more problematic, as I'm on Linux and this cheat was therefore made on my Windows notebook, which is not something I was interested in doing further.

@kawaiinekololis Alright
.I want to develop a new project,a ghost client named LBLITE that injects in exe format.But essentially,it's a memory injector that works with all versions and all mod loaders.I understand that the development workload is huge and challenging,and I'm not sure if this aligns with my initial expectations.I'm also uncertain if there are any open-source injection clients for Minecraft on GitHub,as most mainstream injection clients don't release their source code.I just want to develop an open-source injection client to attract more passionate developers.These closed-source clients can make a lot of money by injecting into any Minecraft launcher,so that's my idea.
