Yeah I understood, you want a block detection range limit, but what I want to know is why and where would this be useful? I can easily add it, I just need to know.
@mems Actually, my opinion on this is not too important, the reason I came up with this max/min is also from the fact that when I turned on the scaffold, after placing a block under my feet, it was on the right or left side. If mine has a block that is higher than where I started placing the scaffold, it will place from the left or right higher than where I placed it. The consequence of that is ghost block

This is my channel, please watch the beginning of the video when I start the scaffold in the middle but if the 2 blocks on the left and right from where I start are higher and about 1 block away from me then it will be placed from both sides. left or right first -

@mems In the video, I cut it a few times and got errors due to the configuration and the fact that it's good. Maybe in the near future I will record for you the problem I am having.

The way the search works is by finding blocks within a radius of 5 blocks and then sorts it by the closest in distance. When I tested it there were zero issues and it works as I expected it to. (Placing on the closest distanced block)

I can tell you this though, it might sometimes place somewhere for a sec because it can't find a suitable spot for scaffold to place but that's on some weird cases.
