This is my channel, please watch the beginning of the video when I start the scaffold in the middle but if the 2 blocks on the left and right from where I start are higher and about 1 block away from me then it will be placed from both sides. left or right first -

@mems In the video, I cut it a few times and got errors due to the configuration and the fact that it's good. Maybe in the near future I will record for you the problem I am having.

The way the search works is by finding blocks within a radius of 5 blocks and then sorts it by the closest in distance. When I tested it there were zero issues and it works as I expected it to. (Placing on the closest distanced block)

(The position where I start the scaffold is in the middle) after placing a block from the starting position, as you said, it must continue to be placed in the middle position but it chooses to place it in the upper wallet on the left or right. I can tell you this though, it might sometimes place somewhere for a sec because it can't find a suitable spot for scaffold to place but that's on some weird cases.
